The big V-Day is on Monday and I have a few thoughts about this holiday. Personally, I have always seen Valentine’s Day as an excuse to celebrate my girls, eat lots of chocolate, and express some extra love. I may celebrate this holiday, but I have been sad about love more times than I can count. I know how tough it can be, which is why I’ve had to get really good at being my own best friend. My own lover and my own Valentine (even now that I am in a relationship). Self-love is THE most important thing you can practice. Everyone shows, feels, and expresses love differently. I personally think Valentine’s Day shouldn’t just be one day. Love should be felt, shown, and expressed everyday. However, I know that VDay can be a holiday that causes some tough feelings, which is why in today’s episode I’m sharing 8 things you can do to practice self-love and be your own best Valentine <3
